He's back

On Sunday Senator Kerry came out saying Republicans were using intimidation techniques to keep Dems from voting. He's quoted saying:
"Leaflets are handed out saying Democrats vote on Wednesday, Republicans vote on Tuesday."
I find this funny for two reasons:
1) The Onion ran "Republicans Urge Minorities To Get Out and Vote on Nov. 3" (Wed) on October 27th. (For those not in the know, The Onion is purely satire)
2) Democrat and comedian Al Franken pulled same joke for Republicans just prior to the 2000 election:
"If your friends say I'm voting for Bush, just remind them of the rule change. That Republicans get to vote on Wednesday, Nov. 8. Democrats vote on Tuesday and Republicans on Wednesday."
A week & a half earlier and it would have made a great April Fools joke!!!
