Between Holidays

I always enjoy the holidays. As usual, we got more than we deserve. Since Christmas, I've been at a family reunion near Sierra Vista. It's always fun to be around more of the Harkins type. While there I was able to go geochaching, and I found a fun mt bike trail (Brown Canyon, if you ever go).

With some Christmas money, I've decided to start piecing together a road bike. I'm bidding on a frame, and we bought a wheelset at Performance earlier today. I'm so excited! Expect pics!

I formed a play-doh ring for mindy. I think she liked the size of the "rock".

Merry Christmas

I made a play-doh sculpture of baby Kyle. I left the face unformed on purpose to symbolize that he is still developing.

A Sad Day

Bye bye friend. You're going off to a better place now. Your new owner will rebuild and treat you the way I wished I could.

Don't cry....it'll be OK.

Be strong...

We're not worthy

I feel so uncool sitting at the red light next to the guy in his gold Ranger listening to Eminem so loud his doors rattle. So inadequate. So not worthy.

Who am I that I get to stop next to his greatness?

Don't be deceived. This "randomly" selected data point is not characteristic of the entire sample. Moments like this in the car are few and far between!

Here is a blast from the past for you.

Back when cats were given the treatment they deserve ;-)

Believe it or not

On one hand, you have Christians outraged that Christmas has lost it's meaning, the birth of Christ, to gift giving (and receiving) and Santa Claus.

On the other hand, you have Christians outraged at the "war on Christmas", in which corporations try to remove the reference to Christ from the holiday season.

I guess the question is would you rather have a person celebrate 'Christmas' without the meaning, or a person who doesn't celebrate Christmas?

The virtues of chain lube

Thats right! You should keep your bicycle chain well lubed at all times. But, the goal of this post is too look at other uses of chain lube...

For instance:
1) Its the middle of the night.
2) Your baby is constantly woken by a squeaky door.
3) You're out of WD-40.
Just then, you realize that the only kind of lubricant you have in your house IS...you guessed it....White Lightning Self-Cleaning Wax Lubricant - the king of all chain lubes.

Apply a little to the door and wha-la! Problem sovled!!!
