I disagree: though the "Mozart Effect" was eventually disproven, researchers have successfully replicated the "Michael Bolton" effect, through which babies eventually grow beautiful manes of long blond hair, a powerful singing voice and songwriting skills that - though mocked by music critics the world over - gather the baby a worldwide throng of forty-something female fans.

Sorry my good man, I didn't mean that classical music makes one smarter or such. It's sort of an inside joke based on a discussion Kevin, Jerry and I had on Kyle's 0th birthday. My stance is that certain copmlex types of music are going to be better at promoting skills requiring complex thought -- classical, jazz, etc. Listening to 50 Cent is not going to make anyone any smarter.
